Minsa Tamako Redesign

So much love for Minsa's new design!
Although not much has changed, the things that have changed make me smile.

Her outfit was always actually kind of "hard to cosplay".
You can't just find a fitted sleeveless green shirt that has a big gray line that goes around to the back of the shirt, and you can't just find a skirt like that in those terrible colors.
Now I've made it worse! <3

A salmon colored headband with a random dark green block in the middle. Okay, easy to make.
The fitted shirt now has lace and a random triangle thing now. Okay, kind of harder.
Fannypack bag thing? Alright, can make.
FREAKING TWO-TONED LEATHER GLOVES WTF?! Actually, the bottom part is leather and the fingers are kind of like cloth. You know, the heavy duty glove type of material. Could be easy, but who knows.

Aggh I adore this design though. <3 She even put on a couple of pounds!~ dsjhfdsjf For some reason it just feels so awesome to be able to draw Minsa with some weight on and she still gives off the feel of a leader.

Despite how I drew her most of the time, Minsa pretty much leaves no room for nonsense. She's a great and strong woman, and that's an opinion. I never really have strong characters like her, so she stands out to me. The motto I give to her is, "Start calming down a bit when everything is done." I'm just really surprised that she's one of my only characters like this. Dasini doesn't count. Welp, only thing is that she can't read.

"So it was Kido's birthday on October 6th, and so as a present, I redesigned him. It turned into a redesigning session of the whole crew!

On the left, I quickly drew what Minsa's design was before (and I tried to imitate the style I drew in when I created her.)

The thing about the crew when I designed them was that I was attempting to make them easy to cosplay while making them also stand out/recognizable. But nowadays, I really like to design characters, so the old designs were grinding my gears since they were so...simple.

And I should say, I'm still using their old designs for animating, or else it'll be like, "WTF, the characters changed clothes, hairstyles, and body sizes over night?!" Yeah so... maybe in a spinoff series."
