Kasa Himo for The World Ends With You contest.
Kasa= Umbrella Himo= Twine (There's no secret meaning to the name.)

I didn't see anyone the least bit tan in that game ,(No black people), so I made someone. XD (Though I'm an anime freak, I surprisingly still stick up for my nationality.)

I don't care if you say there's no black people in Japan... in Shibuya nonetheless, now there is. Congrats. She stands out like everyone else in Shibuya. But you know, I based her design off of the Shinjuku district instead.... so maybe her fashion isn't their fashion. >>;

Her main theme is Sweet Plums. The cotton balls on her socks kind of symbolize the plum a little more. And her face is still blooming as a plum blossom should.

Maybe her clothes should have been a little more dark or ghetto... but we didn't have many examples! I was looking deeply at the characters given, and at first I thought she'd fit in. Then after I already finished her design they decide to finally dish out more characters to help as an example. I mean, I wanted to draw her posing or something, but I don't know how they operate in the game. There weren't enough examples!! (Sorry if it seems that I'm complaining.)

Any way, the design sheet.... is a mess, no? =3 I didn't think this design would be my final. But hey, I colored it on blank. I even attempted a pixel. I had the most reference of Golden Sun there. Thanks much for having that game!~

EDIT: As I look at the newer NPCs I see some tan people.... not black... just tan. I guess that's enough. But hey, more diversity right? Just a little darker skinned person to add in (Kasa).
